There are six phases in the process of implementing a CMS solution. The first three require vendor-neutral consulting, the last three require vendor-specific consultants with experience installing the selected CMS. Both kinds of consultants will be found here.

We will provide the following tools and services.

• Listings search by CMS, by State, and a full-text search.

  

• A home directory for each consultant with an index page, an optional blog, and a tech support page. These pages will support moderated comments for client feedback and recommendations.

• Listings under the CMS for which they are qualified and certified.

• Recognition of their professional certification status.

• The database of consultants will be editable online by consultants themselves. Otherwise, there is no hope of our covering hundreds of small firms with technical accuracy.

• Using the powerful XML database tools of CMS Features and Functions developed by our companion site CMS Review, we hope to classify consultants and make them easily searchable by their special capabilities.

• Using the CMS Review Feature List, we hope potential clients can begin to assess their CMS requirements.

• We have augmented cms-list, the premier mailing list for CMS advice, with an active forum site, CMS Forum. There you will find aggregated news feeds from all the major CMS News services.
