The links define relationships between the semantic objects. The result is a visual diagram or illustration helpful in discerning patterns of meaning. The links are like statements in TimBernersLee's Resource Description Framework RDF for the Semantic Web. A SemanticObject? node is like a Resource?. Semantic links are like RDF statements. Sometimes called a ConceptMap?. And obviously like a Topic Map.
